 Dove Review

This is a powerful movie about forgiveness. A man who had been a driver for thieves who robbed a convenience store has gotten out of prison and Annie, a strong Christian woman and leader of the Bible study group, wants the people affected by it to meet with him and forgive him. The feelings go deep as a gun had been held on them and they had been threatened for several hours.

So Tony, a former military man, Michelle, Will and Annie meet with Wood, the ex-driver. It doesn’t go well at first, despite Wood’s willingness to admit his wrong doing. And when Wood realizes that Annie’s deceased son, Barry, had affected Wood’s life in a negative way by something Barry did, only by God’s grace will the group be able to find forgiveness and move forward.

This compelling movie clearly demonstrates what God’s grace can accomplish. We are pleased to award “The Prayer Circle” our Family Approved Seal for ages twelve and above. Anyone who has ever forgiven someone or needed forgiveness will appreciate this wonderful film.
