Micah 5:1-2

Now gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops: he has laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
2 But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall He come forth to Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

This prophecy confirms that the Messiah would come forth from Bethlehem. It also tells of the treatment that he would receive. {see Mark 15:19}

Micah 7:6

6 For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

The Lord Jesus spoke of the effects of His message and doctrine. {Matthew 10:35-36 , Luke 12:52-53}
