I Chronicles 17:14

14 But I will settle him in My house and in My kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

The truth of this prophecy is echoed in Hebrews 1:8, “But to the Son He says, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.”

I Chronicles 22:10

10 He shall build a house for My name; and he shall be My son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

In Matthew 16:18 the Lord Jesus said, “That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
